Dylan Cruz is what he likes to call a veteran member here at Lighthouse Church, where his parents serve as Senior Assistant Pastors. Growing up at Lighthouse, he experienced kids/ youth ministry throughout the years and eventually became a volunteer in Kidz Jam, a member of Youth.org as well as ChoZen Youth Choir. Later, after graduating high school, Dylan focused on chasing his dream as an actor for a little while, however, decided on his educational course plans which include majoring in Communications & Theater with a minor in Creative Writing. As the years have gone by, Dylan continued serving in different ministry’s, but it wasn’t until a year ago that he’d become a Co-Director of a Young-Adult, 20’s aged ministry called- Love Out Loud, and Co-Leader of our first Creative Team as well. Having a heart for ministry and a passion to excel, he never guessed that it would later lead him to become the Media Director, overseeing all things media here at the Lighthouse.
Some things Dylan enjoys are: photography, writing fiction, hiking, traveling, coffee, reading, blogging on occasion, and singing worship with his friends.
Pastor Farida Mays is known as the “special volunteer” of Lighthouse. She has enjoyed volunteering her time and services to ministry for many years. In 2007 her passion to support young people was discovered; and Youth Living for Christ (YL4C) was developed. A youth ministry that focuses on empowering youth between the ages of 11-19 to live for Christ. Today this ministry has grown to hundreds of teens in addition to many programs to meet the needs and challenges of teens.
Farida truly believes that there is greatness and potential inside of every young person and when it is declared to them who they are, then they realize who they can become. This understanding inspired her to take her passion into the streets of Chicago and the surrounding communities and develop the platform “Change the World- Mentor Our Youth” which supports awareness, motivation, and mentoring opportunities to improve the plight of today’s youth. Her involvement in this cause has earned her the prestigious pageant titles of Mrs. Matteson International (’14) and Mrs. Cook County International (’15). Her ultimate goal is to build a youth center that will provide mentoring services for teens.
Farida holds a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences, from Northern Illinois University. She has been married to Pastor Garland Mays Jr. for 16 years and they have three sons Dorian (DJ), Gabriel& Isaiah.
Jan Robinson grew up in church; her dad was a pastor. As a young child she sang with her mother and sisters. As a teenager, a praise and worship leader was needed so she filled that position.
She and her husband of 38 years are legacy members of The Lighthouse Church. In the early years of Lighthouse, the congregation was small so she filled several positions: praise and worship leader, administrative duties for the Christian school and church, Sunday School teacher, choir member, and Pentecostal’s of Chicago choir member. Her and her husband cleaned the church and started the pop and snack machine “ministry” to help the struggling congregation.
About 4 ½ years ago, she was asked to help out in the Accounting Department. She has worked in that department serving the needs of members and assisting Pastor Jerome. She has made changes in the online giving system and implemented the text giving program. Her most recent accomplishment is the giving kiosk located in the church lobby. Jan worked in four local high schools during her 37 year career as a Bookkeeper and Executive Assistant.
She attended Robert Morris College where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She also loves to sing, do gardening, cook, travel and spend time with her husband.

Hello, you’ve stumbled upon the Bio for Jonathan West. Knowing him, I’m sure he would want to thank you for checking out the Lighthouse Church of All Nations website page. So, let me thank you on his behalf, THANK YOU! Now, if you’re going to continue reading this Bio then surely one would assume you’ve already navigated everything the Lighthouse website has to offer you. If not, well, let’s make this brief so that you can get to it!
So, here it is! Jonathan’s history with The Lighthouse Church and Dan Willis Ministries goes back to over 25 years ago, during which time his mother was the Youth Leader of the Lighthouse Church. However, due to circumstances beyond his control, he was forced to moved out of state, causing about a 14-year break in between. Now, as far as what happened during that 14- year break, unfortunately I’ve signed a privacy disclosure and cannot reveal any of the intimate details of Jonathan’s life. So, full speed ahead, fast forward to 2010, and that’s where his partnership with The Lighthouse Church of All Nations picks back up. Jonathan moved to Chicago during the Summer of 2010 after having recently Graduated from Ball State University with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Chemistry? I bet you didn’t see that one coming did you? Well yes, Chemistry, because he has such an ENORMOUS love for Science!
Love for Science, YES, but it wasn’t able to trump his LOVE for God, though it is pretty close to it…along with his LOVE for Anime, Krav Maga, retro video games, and SO MUCH MORE! That’s all beside the point though. As I was saying, Jonathan moved to Chicago in 2010 and started attending the Lighthouse Church of All Nations. He was not yet employed with the Ministry but gained the opportunity to do so in the Spring of 2011, starting off working one day a week, the day he was scheduled off from the job he had been working at the time. One thing led to another, and because I told you this would be short, he is now currently full-time with the Lighthouse as the Ministries Liaison. What does that mean? It means he liaisons between the 87 ministries of the Lighthouse Church and the Senior Pastor.
So, in continuing with his line of work, I’d would like to take this opportunity to LIAISON you over to another section of our website! So GO, enough about Jonathan! See what Lighthouse, and JESUS, have to offer you!

It all started when she was just 12 years old. Her Grandmother Jean had been a Sunday School teacher for as long as Rachel could remember. Rachel was spending the weekend with her Grandma when Grandma suddenly remembered that it was her Sunday to teach! She took one look at Rachel and said, I KNOW! You will teach! You’ll be great! Ok now what do you need me to do? That weekend, Rachel taught her first ever class of 4 and 5 year old’s, who sat enraptured as she told the story of Adam and Eve! That one Sunday directed Rachel down a long path of leading children to Jesus and she’s never looked back!
Hello! My name is Rachel Cole, but I am commonly referred to as Miss Rachel or Anya’s mommy. I am the Director of Children’s Ministries here at the Lighthouse Church of All Nations along with my husband, Maurice Cole. Not only was I blessed with the greatest husband on the planet, but God has also seen fit to bless me with two amazing daughters. I am #2 in the lineup of children fortunate enough to be born to Pastor Dan & First Lady Linda Willis, and have a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. There are just enough of us to make any restaurant we gather at extremely nervous.
I have been a member of the Lighthouse all my life and have served extensively as a volunteer in Children’s Ministry before becoming the Director. It has been my privilege to serve the Lord as the Director of Children’s Ministries for nearly 15 years. The Kidz Ministry team of the Lighthouse is some of the finest men and women God ever put together. We have a great group of kids and a bunch of teachers and helpers who are committed to sharing God’s love with them. It is so rewarding to serve alongside others vested in building future Kingdom leaders.
If you’re new to the Lighthouse and I haven’t had a chance to meet you yet, please stop me in passing so we can introduce ourselves. If you ever have any questions for me, please feel free to contact me any time. If you would like to know more about our Children’s Ministry or volunteer with us, please contact me at 708.385.6020 x 109 or email@example.com.

HUMAN RESOURCES/OFFICE MANAGER
Tom Salagaj began a career in professional music beginning after his high school graduation in 1961. He auditioned for and became a member of The United States Navy Admiral’s Band that played in more than 36 foreign cities. After his Naval Music Career, he graduated from The University of Memphis with a B.S. in Music Education and taught American History and Band in the Memphis City Schools. He also continued his professional music career by playing in The Memphis Symphony Orchestra, The Memphis Opera Orchestra, The Ernie Bernhardt Orchestra, The Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus Orchestra, The Shower of Stars Orchestra, The Holiday On Ice Show Orchestra, The Disney On Ice Show Band, while also working as a recording trombonist in various recording studios in Memphis and Nashville. His professional music career allowed him to work with such celebrities as Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Wayne Newton, Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, and Debbie Reynolds.
While living in Las Vegas Tom gave up his professional music career to follow the Lord’s call to full time music ministry. He received his ministerial license from The Assemblies of God in 1978 and was ordained in 2006 at The Lighthouse Church of All Nations. He served in various Assembly of God churches for more than 24 years as a Minister of Music, Worship Leader, Teacher, and Director of Performing Arts in Drama Ministry. For more than 20 years, Tom taught classes with a focus on Biblical Character Studies such as Abraham, David, Elijah, Moses, Esther, and Daniel. He has produced and directed more than 70 musical dramas since 1978 and continues this work at The Lighthouse Church. Tom has a deep passion for eschatology and has studied this field of theology for more than 35 years.
A highlight of Pastor Tom’s ministry is his focus on illustrating teaching and preaching with a variety of techniques. These include but are not limited to dramatic scenes, underscore music, and video/audio clips, dance, short skits, and live monologue. For example, to read a passage of scripture is great. However, to make that passage come alive by showing or enhancing it with dramatic elements can often create in the listener/student a lasting image of truth.
Pastor Tom says, “In my opinion, there is no higher calling than to serve God by serving His people. This life is but a preparation for the eternal life to come. What we do now will translate into what we shall do for eternity.”
